On Aug. 27 in Baku, U.S. Special Envoy on the Eurasian Energy issues, Richard Morningstar will debate the U.S. support for and cooperation with Azerbaijan in the development of diversified routes for oil and gas from this region to European and global markets, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend .
During one-day visit, Morningstar will meet with senior government and private sector representatives.
He visited Kazakhstan earlier this week as part of his regional travels.
In spring 2009, the U.S. Secretary of State appointed Morningstar Special Envoy on the development of energy resources and their transit.
