The Sate Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transferred about 594 million manat to the Azerbaijani public budget in January-August, SOCAR said.
The index was 97.5milion manat in August, which is higher by 28.1 million manat than the index in the same period of 2008.
The company transferred 69.6 million manat to the Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund in January-August. But roughly 8.2 million was transferred to the Azerbaijani State Social Protection Fund in August, SOCAR said.
