Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, October 15 / Trend H. Hasanov /

Shaberdi Meredov was appointed chairman of Turkmen state commodity and raw materials exchange.

Turkmen President signed the corresponding decree. Ex-head of the exchange was dismissed for serious shortages.

Turkmen state commodity-raw exchange was founded in Turkmenistan in 1994 as the organization of state regulation of export-import transactions. The exchange is universal. Different commodity-material values, except for intellectual property, masterpieces and real estate, are realized via auction.

Enterprises and organizations of all forms of property, Turkmen citizens and other countries can be participants of the exchange auctions by purchasing broker place or concluding a contract for service with brokers of the exchange.

At present, local production is sold at exchange auctions. This production is exported to more than 40 world countries, including Turkey, China, Russia, UAE, Iran, Germany, the USA, Great Britain, Ukraine and Switzerland. Major spheres of export are oil products, cotton-fiber, local production of textile industry and chemical industry.
