SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) has proposed a bilateral co-operation of relevant agencies of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in the field of nanotechnology, Ekol Muhendislik Xidmetleri Company (engineering services), co-founded by SOCAR, reported. The Uzbek side expressed its agreement on the proposal.
The proposal was made by vice-president of SOCAR Mukhtar Babayev during his visit to Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation met with senior officials of the Uzbeknetegaz National Holding Company. During visit to the Fergana refinery, the Uzbek side was proposed the services, experience and technical capabilities of Ekol JSC in processing industrial waters and oil sludge.
Summing up the talks and a package of proposals, it was decided to establish a working group to prepare and present the general concept of cooperation between the sides.
