The tax rate on petrol, diesel fuel and gas for physical entities increased from 145 sums per liter from current 120 sums in Uzbekistan from Jan. 1.
New rates were approved by the Uzbek President's decree 'Forecast on major macroeconomic indices and the Uzbek state budget's parameters for 2010'.
Retail price for 1 liter of AI-80 petrol hit 1,040 sums given fuel tax, AI-91 - 1,150 sums, AI - 95 - 1,275 sums in 2009. These prices have not been changed throughout 2009.
The tax rate approved by the decree is common all over Uzbekistan.
