In 2009, SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) transferred about 1.47 billion manat to the Public budget, which is 117.1 million manat more than in 2008, the company said on Jan. 6.
In December the figure was 532.56 million manat, which is about 219.48 million manat more than the same period of 2008.
In 2009, SOCAR transferred more than 115.16 million manat to the State Social Protection Fund, which is almost seven million manat more than 2008. In December, about 12 million manat was transferred to the Social Fund.
