The Geophysics and Geology Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has completed the underwater investigations of the pipeline connecting platform No.1 / 11, which starts in the Bahar field and ends (No.30) in the Gum Deniz field, the department reported today.
The pipeline is 21.5 kilometers long and 325 mm in diameter.
The department also conducted sonar work to explore underwater communications in the Absheron and Bank of Darwin fields.
The abovementioned works were carried out using the courts of M. Suleymanov and Geophysicist-2.
