Azerenergy Joint Stock Company (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) got 1,7 billion cubic meters of gas in January-May compared to about 2.1 billion cubic meters in January-May 2009 for use as fuel, SOCAR said.
In May Azerenergy got 227.8 million cubic meters of gas compared to 321 million cubic meters over the same period last year.
In 2009, Azerenergy got approximately 4.32 billion cubic meters of gas compared to 4,95 billion cubic meters in 2008. In 2007, this figure amounted to 3,4 billion cubic meters of gas.
