About 260 kilometers of pipes of different diameters were laid during 2009-2010 to improve the quality of gas supply in six districts of Baku, a statement said.
According to the report, work was carried Binagadi, Sabunchu, Khatai, Nizami, Garadagh, and Khazar districts of Baku.
About 16,559 people were provided with gas throughout this year in Baku. The figure was 22,827 users. Moreover, about 260.3 kilometers of pipeline were laid in the villages of Absheron district, Gobu, Fatmai, Saray, Chayli, Gobustan, Masazir, Jeyranbatan Atyaly, Nubar, Ashaghi Guzdek.
The work to restore and improve the quality of gas supply is held within the state programs of development of fuel and energy complex (2005-2015) and socio-economic development of regions (2009-2013).
