Turkish company Tekfen Construction starts construction of a new administrative building of SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) in Baku in June, Tekfen.

The sides have already signed a contract worth $235 million to build a new SOCAR headquarters complex in Baku. Construction is scheduled to be planned to be completed within 32 months.

Design of the building has been prepared by the South Korean company Heerim Architects. The height of the new building will be 173 meters. The 32-storey building will occupy an area of 12,000 square meters.

SOCAR has already acquired a plot of land on the avenue named after Heydar Aliyev for the new building.

The new administrative building will include several conference rooms, guest rooms, compact social objects, ground and underground parking, independent technical areas and a gym.
