Azerbaijan, Baku, June 29 / Trend S. Suleymanov /

Akmola region commissioned two independent energy complexes on the basis of wind and solar energy, Trend reports quoting the press service of Kazatomprom.

"Wind power stations will provide the object 'Forest reserve' in the so-called Green zone of the capital with lighting. Complexes are based on Bolotov's wind rotor turbine. It is a unique development of Kazakhstan's famous scholar, doctor of technical sciences, Academician Albert Bolotov," a message said.

This plant has a very high rate of installed capacity - up to 43 percent. Moreover, the kit includes solar and gel batteries. If there is no sun, no wind, power of the facility will go through power stored in the battery.

"Wind power plants are planned to be built in Ust-Kamenogorsk JSC Mashzavod that is part of Kazatomprom," a press release said.

According to the company, there are about 180,000 farms in Kazakhstan now. Most of which (90 percent) have no access to centralized power. An uninterrupted power supply of small settlements in remote areas, repeaters, frontier, border surveillance systems, maintenance of oil pipelines belonging to customers of the first category have particular importance. Using of the integrated wind turbines will change the configuration of power system of Kazakhstan. It will increase the supply of regions with energy.

Today more than 20 such stations operate in remote areas Qizilorda, Aktubinsk and South Kazakhstan regions.
