In January-June, the system of main pipelines SC KazTransOil transported about 26 million tons compared to 24.4 million tons during the same period of 2009, the SC's website reported.
Cargo turnover via the system of main pipelines KazTransOil in January-May June was about 16.63 billion tons-kilometers.
Oil transportation amount via the oil pipelines KazTransOil to refineries in Kazakhstan increased compared to the previous year. After six months the amount of oil transportation for processing at refineries amounted to over 6.4 million tons, which is 1.47 million tons more than the same period of 2009.
In January-June, the amount of oil transhipment via the pipeline Atasu-Alashankou amounted to 5 million tons compared to 3.3 million tons during the same period of 2009.
In January-June, the Russian oil transit via the pipeline TON-2 located in Kazakhstan amounted to about 2.77 million tons compared to about 2.4 million tons during the same period of 2009.
