Ecological Department of State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has conducted ecological monitoring on the commissioned fields "Gurgan Deniz", "Western Absheron", "Absheron Banka," SOCAR said.
According to the Company, the monitoring was held using research vessel "MRK-452".

During the initial monitoring 21 test for microbiological investigations were taken for chemical research at different depths, 12 for microbiological studies, 11 for zooplankton studies, 15 for studies of benthos.
