Turkmenistan auctions over 120,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned more than 120,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex today at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades about 80,000 tons of liquefied gas, about 3,000 tons of polypropylene, 30,000 tons of fuel oil.

Last week at the auction of the national stock exchanges recorded over 38 transactions.

Businessmen from Russia, UAE, UK, Afghanistan, purchased fuel oil, aviation kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas, diesel fuel and polypropylene. Traditionally, the main buyers are also the companies from U.S., Switzerland, Virgin Islands, Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Iran and other countries. The total amount of contracts, including the production of other economic sectors has exceeded 57 million 199,000 dollars.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
