Azerenergy JSC (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijani regions) conducts repair operations the Absheron regional electric power. It plays an important role in energy supply of the Absheron peninsula and surrounding territories of Baku, a statement said.
According to the information, a number of systematic measures were made for the last three months. Some of them are underway. The repair work contributes to a stable and quality power supply and reduces technological losses on transmission lines.
The 220-kilovolt Hovsan, 110-kilovolt Ramani and Surakhani substations were repaired to ensure stable and uninterrupted operation. The repair work was conducted on the 110-kilovolt substations "Zikh" "the eighth kilometer" "Akhmedli", "Mashtaga", "Zabrat" and others.
The necessary work was carried out on high power lines. Twelve linear valves, about 530 insulators were replaced.
