Turkmenistan auctions over 210,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned over 210,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex today at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades about 25,000 tons of liquefied gas, 79,000 tons of diesel fuel, 20,000 of gasoline, 7,000 tons of straight-run gasoline, 40,000 tons of petroleum coke, 40,000 tons of kerosene and 6,000 tons of polypropylene.

Last week at the auction of the national stock exchanges recorded 44 transactions worth over $121 million. Companies from UK, UAE, Switzerland and Afghanistan bought fuel oil, aviation kerosene and liquefied gas.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
