Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec. 10 / Trend A. Badalova /

The International Energy Agency (IEA) predicts increased world oil prices to $113 per barrel in 2035.

According to the IEA report on the prospects for global energy in 2010, this price is slightly more than $60 per barrel compared to the average price in 2009.

"The price on oil necessary to maintain a balance on oil markets will increase," the report said. "This indicates a growing numbness in both demand and supply to change the price."

Oil prices on world markets increased amid favorable macroeconomic data.

Following the auction on Dec. 9, January futures for WTI on the New York Mercantile Exchange increased by $0.09 to $88.37 per barrel. January futures for Brent increased by $0.22 to $90.99 per barrel on the London Stock Exchange.

The U.S. State Energy Information Administration predicts the average price on WTI at $79 per barrel in 2010 and $86 per barrel in 2011.
