SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) on Thursday opened eight new filling stations in Georgia, the company said in a statement.
Stations were constructed by SOCAR subsidiary - SOCAR Energy Georgia. They were opened in the country's capital Tbilisi, Kharagauli district, Ianeti village in Samtredi district, Chnori village in Sighnaghi district, Khelvachauri district in Adjara Autonomous Republic, Fakhrali and Kepenekchi villages in Bolnisi district and Gabal village in Lagodekhi district.
With the construction of new stations the total number of gas stations owned by SOCAR Energy Georgia has reached 64.
