The oil price of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) inched up to 109.96 dollars the previous day, DPA reported.
OPEC's basket price moved up 0.41 dollars per barrel (159 litres) on Wednesday.
Libya's top oil official Shukri Ghanem said that his country's oil production has fallen by more than two-thirds to 500,000 barrels per day since the start of the unrest.
