Kazakhstan, Astana, March 24 / Trend A. Maratov /
The export customs duty on oil worth $40 per ton in Kazakhstan will not be reviewed in the near future, Kazakh Economic Development Minister and Trade Zhanar Aitzhanova told Trend.
"We had the export duty at $20 in late 2010," she said while answering journalists' questions. "We reviewed it. Today, the duty on oil is $40. The issue of increasing the duty has not been raised."
But she added that Kazakhstan will consider the issue if necessary.
