The average price on Euro- Super 95 petrol hit 1,517 euro per 1,000 liters in 27 EU countries last week (May 16-23). The price is 5 euro less the average for the previous week. Data on fuel prices are posted on the official Web site of the European Commission.
The highest price - 1,688 euro per 1,000 liters - was observed in Greece. The price was 1,706 euro per 1,000 liters the previous week.
The lowest price was 1,183 euro per 1,000 liters in Bulgaria.
The Netherlands took second place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro- Super 95 . The price hit 1,673 euro per 1,000 liters or 17 euro less than the previous week.
Denmark took third place in the list of countries with the most expensive Euro- Super 95 . The price hit 1,620 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,648 euro per 1,000 liters the previous week.
The price in Finland hit 1,589 euro per 1,000 liters or 5 euro less than the previous week.
The price in Portugal hit 1,575 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,600 euro per 1,000 liters the previous week.
The price hit 1,570 euro per 1,000 liters or 23 euro more than the previous week in Germany .
The price in Belgium hit 1,569 euro per 1,000 liters or 17 euro less than the previous week.
The price in Sweden hit 1,568 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,585 euro per 1,000 liters the previous week.
The price in Great Britain hit 1,564 euro per 1,000 liters compared to 1,563 euro per 1,000 liters the previous week.
Italy took the tenth place in the list of European countries with the highest cost gasoline Euro-super 95 on last week with 1538 euro per 1,000 liters, 12 euros less than the price in the previous week.
