Turkmenistan auctions about 200,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned about 200,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange on Wednesday.

The country put as stock trades 20,000 tons of liquefied gas, 40,000 tons of straight-run gasoline, about 60,000 tons of gasoline, 30,000 tons of diesel fuel, 30,000 tons of fuel oil and 20,000 tons of jet kerosene.

Last week at the auction of the national stock exchanges recorded 31 transactions.

Companies from the UK, UAE, Turkey, Afghanistan, Denmark, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, the Virgin Islands and Jersey purchased different brands of gasoline, liquefied gas, hydrotreated diesel fuel and heating oil.

The representatives from Azerbaijan, Great Britain, the Netherlands, China, Turkey, UAE, U.S, Russia, Switzerland, Kazakhstan and Liechtenstein are the traditional participants of the auction. Total amount of contracts, including on sale of oil products exceeds $77 million.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
