The Khatam ol-Anbia Construction Headquarters will complete South Pars Phases 15 and 16 by mid November, Mehr News Agency reported, quoting the commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Mohammad Ali Jafari as saying.
"Currently 75 to 80 percent of Phases 15 and 16 have been completed and the project will be finished by November 22," he said.
Iran Revolutionary Guards also took up the implementation of projects in Phases 23, 24 and 25 in South Pars less than a year ago.
"The progress in Phases 23, 24 and 25 surpass the time line and will be complete on time, " he added.
South Pars oil and gas field is one of the largest in the world and is expected to produce up to $130 billion in revenues per year.
The South Pars oil and gas field covers an area of 3,700 square kilometers and is located 3,000 meters below the seabed.
