Iran will sell shares of 40 oil companies to private sector in the current solar year (started on March20, 2011), Mehr News Agency reported quoting Oil Ministry caretaker Mohammad Aliabadai as saying.
"The Oil Ministry plans to sell shares of 40 oil companies to private sector this year," he said.
OPEC president has once again stressed on Iran's position on keeping oil production ratio among OPEC member-states.
Some countries depend on super powers and demand increase of oil production, however OPEC member-states cannot increase the oil production rate without reasonable argument, he added.
According to recent reports, the oil prices increased by $1.14 per barrel and surpassed $108 per barrel of oil.
