Turkmenistan has huge reserves of raw materials and holds one of the leading places in the world.
Media reported that the Caspian Garabogazgol, the largest sodium sulfate deposit, plays an important role in creating the mineral resource base.
It is planned to increase the volume of sodium sulfate produced up to 240,000 tons in 2015, up to 400,000 tons per year in 2030 as part of Turkmenistan's development plan.
