Russian port of Novorossiysk cuts oil transshipment

The Russian international trade sea port of Novorossiysk shipped over 55.7 million tons of oil in January-June compared to over 56.2 million tons in January-June 2010, the statement posted on the official website of the port said.

The port transported about 8.9 million tons of oil products during this period compared to about 6.67 million tons in January- June 2010.

The port handled 76.82 million tons of cargo in January-June compared to about 77.91 million tons over the same period last year.

The State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) transports own oil through this port.
