Oil supply to Kazakh refineries jumps in June

The actual oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries amounted to 6.493 million tons in January - June 2011 compared to 6.636 million tons in the same period of 2010 , the Kazakh Statistics Agency's Central Dispatching Administration reported.

The report reads that the oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries hit 1,166,000 tons in June, or 1.8 percent more compared to May and 3.1 percent more compared to June 2010.

The volume of imported oil for the Kazakh refineries hit 618,600 tons in June, which occupies 53 percent of total shipments, including the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant initially focused on Russian crude oil refining - 328,900 tons.

Kazakhstan has three oil refineries including Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, Shymkent refinery and Atyrau refinery.
