The Geophysics and Geology Department has submitted its proposals to expand the Sangachal Oil Terminal.
He said the proposals submitted by relevant structures will be considered.
"The department made proposals regarding the work required to expand the terminal," the source said.
Earlier, the Geophysics and Geology Office completed drilling geological and engineering wells under the Sangachal oil terminal expansion project.
The drilling was carried with the Kamaz LBU-50 drilling rig under a contract signed with Azeri-Fugro.
The Sangachal oil terminal was constructed to ensure the transportation of oil and gas produced in the framework of a project to develop the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oil and gas fields in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
