The Turkmenbashi refinery produced different types of gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, lubricants and coke.

Turkmenistan plans to bring the oil refining capacity up to 15 million tons a year in 2015, by 2020 - up to 20 million tons, in 2025 - up to 22 million tons, in 2030 - up to 30 million tons of oil.

According to the approved plans, this will be achieved by building three new refineries and modernizing existing ones.
