Turkmenneft produces over 3mln tons oil

Since the beginning of the year, the Turkmenneft State Concern produced 3.12 million tons of oil, almost 9,000 tons more than the same period of the last year, the State Company reported Friday.

According to the report, the units "Nebitdagnebit", "Goturdepenebit", "Gumdagnebit" and "Galkynyshnebit" particularly distinguished in the oil and gas production.

Since 2010, Turkmenistan began to actively use Caspian route through neighboring Azerbaijan to export crude oil. In addition to Turkmenneft, the oil operations in the country are also conducted by companies from Malaysia, England, UAE and other countries.
The growth in processing crude oil was 102.7 percent. The growth was achieved in the production of gasoline of all types, diesel fuel and polypropylene. Processing of Turkmen oil is carried out in plants in the cities of Turkmenbashi and Sadie.
For the exploration on hydrocarbon fields, Turkmenistan actively cooperates with foreign service companies on a tender basis.
