In January-July Azerbaijan produced 27.7 million tons of oil and condensate, or 6.9 percent less compared to the figure in January-July of 2010, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
About 50.83 million tons of oil were extracted in Azerbaijan in 2010.
The main part of oil production fell to Azerbaijan International Operating Company and gas condensate field Shah Deniz.
About 26.23 billion cubic meters of gas were extracted last year. About 16.67 billion fell to commodity gas.
Gas production in January-July in Azerbaijan amounted to about 15.14 billion cubic meters, or 1.9 percent less than the same period of 2010.
In January-July Azerbaijan produced about 11.66 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, or 5.5 percent more compared to the same period of 2010.
