SOCAR will implement new modules of budgeting and strategic decision-making automated control system from 2012, SOCAR vice-president for economic affairs Suleyman Gasimov told media.
The automated control system was previously installed in SOCAR by the German company SAP.
"At present, these modules are tested at different offices," he said. "We plan to introduce them from early 2012."
The company plans to introduce modules for managing the production process.
"The matter rests in SAP TM, SAP PP, SAP QM modules," he said. "The working groups are being established at production areas. The methodology and business plan are being prepared."
SOCAR's 140 enterprises have already implemented SAP solutions to manage human resources, sale, financial accounting, material lines, supply, risk management.
The implementation of SAP solutions will help improve SOCAR's activity, reduce the time to prepare reports, strengthen financial controls and transparency, standardization and automation of business processes.
