Bulgaria is interested in buying compressed gas of Azerbaijan, Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism of Bulgaria Traycho Traykov said at a meeting with Minister of Industry and Energy of Azerbaijan Natik Aliyev in Baku on Thursday.
At a meeting held at the Ministry, the sides discussed the work done in the field of energy and energy cooperation, the head of Energy Ministry's press service Azer Mensimli said Thursday.
The two sides also mentioned Azerbaijan's role in the energy security of Europe and discussed other issues.
During the meeting, the sides stressed the priority directions of energy cooperation and energy security within the memorandum of understanding signed between the sides Nov. 13, 2009.
Thursday Baku hosted Azerbaijan-Bulgarian business forum.
