Tariffs on electrical energy increased by 9 percent in Uzbekistan, said the power sales of the country.
In particular, the cost per kilowatt/hour of electricity for the population rose to 91.1 from 83.6 soums, in houses equipped with electric stoves - up to 45.55 from 41.8 soums.
This is the second increase in electricity prices during the year - in April, rates for electricity consumption have been increased by 8.8 percent.
As Trend already reported, October 1, in Uzbekistan increased tariffs for natural gas, for the population - 18.3 per cent, in central heating, hot and cold water supply - by 6.3 per cent and bread - by 25 percent.
