Iran is expected to complete all phases of South Pars on 2015, SHANA reported quoting Managing Director of Pars Gas and Oil Company Mussa Souri as saying.

Under the National Iranian Organization's plan, Iran will launch each phase of South Pars every six months.

"By 2015 one gas refinery will be commissioned every six months and by launching refineries in phases 15 and 16 of South Pars this year the country's gas production capacity will increase by 30 million cubic meters," he said.

Souri noted launching phases of South Pars requires $15 billion in annual investment.

The South Pars oil and gas field is shared by Iran and Qatar.

The Iranian share, which was divided into 29 phases, has about 14 trillion cubic meters of gas (about 8 percent of total world reserves) and more than 18 billion barrels of liquefied natural gas resources.
