The State Concern Turkmenneft has reported receiving a strong inflow of oil from the Kemer area located in the Balkan region.
According to preliminary data, the design depth of the exploratory well is 4,300 meters, and the daily flow rate- 250,000 cubic meters of natural a day.
Yet, only the first productive horizon has been discovered.
The results of geophysical studies carried out by specialists indicate that there are three more prospective for hydrocarbons layers.
Turkmenneft reported that it is another evidence to the high energy potential of the south-west of the country, where previously opened a number of large fields - Korpedje, Keymir, South Kamyshlyja, Akpatlavuk, Shatut, Nebitlidzhe and Altyguyi.
These areas serve as raw materials for interstate gas pipeline Turkmenistan - Iran (Korpeje-Kurt-Kui).
