Iran's gas pipeline will reach Pakistan in next month to reduce Pakistan's energy problems, ISNA quotes Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Mashallah Shakeri as saying.
"Iran - Pakistan gas pipeline (Peace pipeline) is geopolitically valuable and can improve Pakistan's industry. Currently, Iran has completed construction of part of the gas pipeline and will export gas to Pakistan to solve country's energy problems," he said.
He stressed that Iran - Pakistan gas pipeline creates peaceful atmosphere in the region and boosts economy and tourism.
Meantime, Pakistan Today quoted Shakeri, who said the gas pipeline will reach Pakistan in next month and the country will receive 16 cubic feet of gas from Iran according to the contract.
Iran will also export 1,000 mega watt of electricity to Pakistan to reduce energy crisis.
