The Azerigas production association has laid 3,064 kilometers of gas pipelines to prepare the country for the autumn-winter season, a source in the production association told Trend on Wednesday.
He said 970 kilometer-gas pipelines were repaired during this year.
About 103 settlements in 34 districts of the country were provided with gas again after the repair operations completed in 2011.
It was previously reported that a program was developed to conduct the relevant preparatory work in spring.
