The total amount of the investment portfolio of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) was $32 billion 238 million in January-September this year. The figure hits 99.99 percent of total assets, SOFAZ told Trend on Wednesday.
According to the information, 55.32 percent of the investment portfolio is concentrated in dollars ($17 billion 832.62 million), 39.57 percent - euro (9 billion 432.39 million euros) and 5.11 percent - in British pounds sterling (1 billion 57.33 million pounds).
SOFAZ's assets increased by 41.6 percent as of Oct. 1.
They amounted to $32 billion 242.5 million compared to early 2011 ($22 billion 766.8 million)
SOFAZ was established in 1999. Its assets amounted to $271 million that period.
