Oil supply to Kazakh refineries decreases in January-October

The real oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries amounted to 10.106 million tons in January to October 2011 compared to 12.099 million tons in the same period of 2010, the Kazakh Statistics Agency's Central Dispatching Administration reported.

The report reads that the oil delivery to the Kazakh refineries hit 1.210 million tons in October, or 8.6 percent less compared to September. Oil supplies to the Kazakh refineries amounted 0.992 million tons in October 2010.

Kazakhstan imported for its refineries 374,2 tons of crude oil in October, which makes up 28.7 percent of total shipments, including 319,3 tons for the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, which focuses on Russian crude oil.

Kazakhstan has three oil refineries including Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, Shymkent refinery and Atyrau refinery.
