Unit 12 (CCR) of development plan of Imam Khomeini refinery in Shazand with 100-octane gasoline production process has been operating experimentally and it is to be inaugurated today (Nov. 16), Mehr reported earlier.
Development plan of Imam Khomeini refinery in Shazand is conducting to increase the refinery capacity from 170,000 barrels a day to 250,000 barrels a day and an increase in gasoline daily production by 2 million liters a day and quality improvement of the products to reach the 2005 European Union standard. The progress of this project is 94 percent, Mehr reported.
Required budget for the development plan of Emam Khomeini refinery in Shazand has been announced 34,000 billion rials. A decrease by a factor of 0.3 in heavy fuel oil consumption is an advantage of completing the development plan of Emam Khomeini refinery in Shazand, Mehr news agency reported.
