Uzbekistan plans to increase tax rate for physical entities from 2012

Uzbekistan plans to raise the tax rate for physical entities for the consumption of gasoline by 14.3 percent (25 soums) - up to 200 soums per liter from January 1, 2012, the portal norma.uz, specializing in the publication of regulations in the field of taxation, said.

At present, retail prices for gasoline AI-80 hit 1,580 soums per liter, gasoline AI-91 - 1,745 soums, AI-95 - 1,930 soums, gasoline Premium Euro-95 - 3,200 soums based on tax gasoline consumption, which is 175 soums per liter from January 1, 2011.

The last increase in gasoline prices in Uzbekistan was on August 1, when prices were increased on average by 10 percent according to the governmental decree.
