Belarus facility ups oil refining by 28.5 percent

According to preliminary data, in January-October 2011, Belarus’s Mozyr oil refinery increased oil refining by 28.5 per cent against the respective period of 2010 up to 6.5 million tons. Of this, 1.2 million tons were non-Russian crude, BELTA reported.

According to preliminary data, in January-October 2011, Belarus's Mozyr oil refinery increased oil refining by 28.5 per cent against the respective period of 2010 up to 6.5 million tons. Of this, 1.2 million tons were non-Russian crude, BELTA reported.

The facility refined 5.3 million tons of its own crude oil compared to 2.9 million tons in January-October 2010. In the observed period, labor productivity rose by 21.4 per cent.

In November 2011, the Mozyr oil refinery plans to refine more than 900,000 tons, including more than 40,000 tons as non-Russian crude oil.

The Mozyr oil refinery was put into operation in 1975 and converted into open joint-stock company in 1994.
