Oil transit through Georgia decreases in 2011

Some 38.3 million tons of crude oil were transported through Georgia in 2011, Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation told Trend on Tuesday.

Some 34.543 million tons of Azerbaijani oil were transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) oil pipeline to Ceyhan port in 2011. The figure was 38.379 million tons in 2010.

Some 3.817 million tons of crude oil were transported through the western route export pipeline (WREP) to the Supsa oil terminal. The figure was 3.985 million tons of oil in 2010.
