Leading managers of Russian Gazprom gas company will pay a working visit to Tajikistan on Feb.6-7, Asia-Plus reported.
Within the visit they will hold some meetings, which will discuss the Russian-Tajik project on development of promising oil and gas bearing regions of Tajikistan and prospects of bilateral cooperation in energy field.
The managers, who will visit Tajikistan, are Head of Gas, Gas Condensate and Oil Production Department at Gazprom Vsevolod Cherepanov and Gazprom International managing director Valery Gulev.
Within the visit Cherepanov and Gulev will also visit the company's main production facility in Tajikistan - the wellsite "Shahrinav-1p" in Sarikamysh license area.
A 100-percent subsidiary of Gazprom - Gazprom International - is an operator of the project on hydrocarbons exploration in Tajikistan.
Open Joint Stock Company Gazprom is the largest producer of natural gas in the world and the major Russian company. Its major business lines are geological exploration, production, transportation, storage, processing and marketing of hydrocarbons, as well as generation and marketing of heat and electric power. Russian government has a controlling stake in the company.
