Kazakhstan's total production of gas amounted to 39.532 billion cubic meters (bcm) in 2011, as compared to 37.414 bcm in 2010, the Kazakh Statistics Agency dispatching management told Trend.
Gas production in Kazakhstan totaled 3.447 bcm in December, 2011 compared to 3.645 bcm during the same period of 2010. In December, 2011 gas production in the country decreased by 5.4 percent as compared to December, 2010 and increased by 0.3 percent compared to December, 2011.
The implementation of the plan in November for the country's gas extraction amounted to 93.1 percent extracted gas, and natural gas extracted at 100.9 percent.
