SOFAZ plans to invest in new financial instruments in 2012, SOFAZ official Israfil Mammadov told media today.
This goal is part of SOFAZ's investment policy for 2012.
"The policy has been approved," he said. "We are now engaged in its realization."
He said SOFAZ will invest in new tools, such as gold, stocks and real estate in 2012.
"First and foremost, the issue at hand is the commercial real estate in developed European countries with very transparent real estate markets," he said. "Other markets will be considered in the future."
He said active work is being conducted in all these three areas.
"The markets are being studied," he said. "Negotiations are being held with potential partners."
