Batumi Oil Terminal transshipped about 408.85 thousand tons of oil in January 2012 compared to about 453.42 thousand tons in January 2011, the terminal told Trend on Friday.
It is stated in the information that more than 290.6 thousand tons of crude oil accounted for about 60.87 thousand tones of fuel oil and vacuum gas oil, 37.1 tons for gasoline, 10.2 thousand tons for diesel fuel and about 10.04 thousand tons for propane-butane mixture from the total terminal transshipped of oil cargo in January.
The terminal transshipped more than 5.35 million tons of oil cargo in 2011.
In February 2008, JSC "KazTransOil", a subsidiary of JSC NC "KazMunayGas" acquired Batumi Oil Terminal and Petrotrans. JSC KazTransOil has also acquired the right for the long-term management of the Batumi seaport.
