Turkmenistan auctions about 740,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned about 740,000 tons of oil products from the Turkmenbashi refinery, and refineries in the Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades about 190,000 tons of gasoline, 195,000 tons of diesel fuel, 10,000 tons of oil coke, 10,000 tons of furnace oil, 160,000 tons of fuel oil, 60,000 tons of straight-run gasoline, about 90,000 tons of liquefied gas and 40,000 tons of kerosene.
Some 44 deals were registered at the Turkmen State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

Companies from Afghanistan, Denmark, Russia, the UAE, Afghanistan, and the Virgin Islands bought diesel fuel, jet fuel, polypropylene and liquefied gas. Total amount of contracts, including on sale of oil products exceeds $109 million.

The representatives from Azerbaijan, China, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Iran and other countries are the traditional participants of the auction.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
