The largest volume of imports of Georgia in January-March 2012 accounts for oil and oil products again, Georgian Statistic Office told Trend.
During this period, imports of oil and oil products amounted to $181 million, or 11 percent of total imports. Commodity group of cars, imports of which amounted to $154 million, or 9 percent of total imports, ranks second. Petroleum gases and gaseous hydrocarbons rank third - $105 million (6 percent). The fourth and fifth places are occupied by wheat (3.1 percent) and pharmaceuticals (2.6 percent).
The top three importing countries are as follows: Turkey (16.2 percent), Azerbaijan (9.5 percent) and Germany (8.6 percent).
